hand-made books

I've studied artist's book-making for a few years, first with Lin Charlston and Sarah Bryant, and continuing in depth on the one-year artist's bookmaking course at Spike Island, Bristol run by Angie Butler.

I particularly enjoy exploring interplay of poetry/song text with print and photographic image within bookmaking. My interest for now is in experimenting with content within simple structures, but I'm looking forward to delving into more complex stitching and folding techniques in the future.

Below are images of most of the books I've made. Some are available for purchase, others are one-off projects.
